Meet 2 Far South, a dynamic 2-piece grunge-garage band that defies borders, seamlessly blending vintage vibes with a contemporary edge.
In 2014, South African expatriate Peter Pote made the move to Sweden, bringing with him a wealth of musical experience from his time with Evolver One, where he shared stages with renowned acts like 3 Doors Down, Snow Patrol, and Oasis. Fate led him to the small town of Hässleholm, where he crossed paths with local drummer Johan Åberg. Following an electrifying jam session, 2 Far South was born.

According to Pote and Åberg, their band is the love child of The White Stripes and Nirvana, nurtured on a musical diet of Led Zeppelin and Rage Against the Machine. Their grunge-based sound receives a modern-day makeover, drawing from a diverse range of influences that expands beyond the genre's traditional boundaries.
